Since 2014, WADA and the global anti-doping community have been celebrating the annual Fair Play Day, a day dedicated to clean sport which aims to raise awareness among athletes, the public and all other stakeholders of the importance of protecting clean sport. The Fair Play Day was born from a conference on education organized by WADA in 2013, in which 17 Latin American countries participated. This campaign has grown in importance over the years, to the point that the Agency's social media campaign reached over six million people last year, including many individual and institutional participants from around the world. .
This year, given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, WADA has chosen to appeal for the solidarity of the anti-doping community - and all partners engaged in the fight for the protection of sport. clean - under the theme " Staying Safe for True Game Day 2020 ".
